Life Principles To Live By And Visits From The Doctors Today

They are kindly and explain procedures and symptoms. This gives me confidence that they will take care with me as and when I deteriorate.

  • It is real. It is good.

The latest is that the specialized doctors tried to find fluid in my lower belly because I have a lot of edema. But they found no pools of fluid inside of me, so it’s there making my legs and feet swollen and belly extended. Now they can do no more with that procedure but my medication has been changed to be stronger in getting rid of the edema.

I thanked the doctors and said it was okay about the procedure being tried and not working or finding a pool of fluid.

Whatever happens is what counts and that is what we all deal with.

I even enjoyed the procedure. They anesthetize the belly area first then use another needle to find the fluid and drain. They had a bucket ready should the belly drain, but nothing. I did a few little yelps from a little pain when the needle probed, but nothing terrible.

Other Things I Get To Help With Cancer Care

Also I will get a little morphine at night so I really do sleep well and not wake in anxiety or a choking feeling from the cancer slime they call it. Plus not wake and concern Stefania who is a light sleeper and needs her rest also.

And I will get a special electronic rise and fall bed so that I can sleep half sitting up.

And I got my walker today that is good for moving about the house and even outside because it stabilizes me. It also lets me more easily than anything else, including Stefania, get up and down from a chair. Special for me. It makes a big difference in mobility.

And we get some help from another organization for people coming to the house and doing tasks, so to relieve some of the pressure on Stefania handling our daily needs.

And got the first Iscador injection, which happens twice a week. Stefania will learn to give it. The nurse said yesterday that it often stops the tumor from growing. Believe in it, says Jeremy. Yes to that. I already believe in the Greater Source when I cooperate with it.

As far as pressure, the doctor says, isn’t there some way Stefania can take off from work to be with me and to rest herself and care for me at home with the challenge of being my Primary Care Worker, as well as friend and wife?

No, says Stefania, she needs to keep working to pay our basic expenses like for the health insurance each month. We have no greater income than hers and mine together at the poverty level.

We must make appeals to people to help out, and shall do so soon.

Principle To Practice

Imagine how Stefania felt as the doctor was sticking the needle in me repeatedly, trying to find where the fluid was to drain it. They asked her if it was too much, if she wanted to leave the room?

She said no, but did experience body shock. I told the doctors that we are realists. We take in all of reality as equally to be experienced as ones life.

My main doctor saw that Stefania and I had a good relationship.

Principles

Face and take in all of reality as it is happening so that you affirm all of your existence, the better to live your life as a conscious wholeness process you can integrate and grow from.

  1. Flee from nothing.
  2. Live at the edge sometimes.
  3. Expand beyond what you are currently afraid of.
  4. Go where the energy is.
  5. See things as they are, the better not to project.

The weave becoming not only tighter but stronger as we are loomed together through this journey with you. I feel this community has come together to build this strength in support of you and Stephania. I truly can feel her journey as well, for it is one journey I have traveled more than once. I send my strength and energy to her as well. What a profound thing that it happening here. The reality of one person creating this tapestry of us all as a whole.

    I subscribe to your principles and have already enlarged printed them out to post on my wall. It’s just the kind of medicine I need to feed on.

    Yes, of course, I remember your kindness to Ellie at the conference. You taught her self-defense, Akido, and after talked about her during your workshop.

    She’s a good, bright soul who teaches me much.

    If it doesn’t affect you at all now in how and what you respond to, or don’t, I would love to collect some of your comments, or is it all?, to include with the book I hope to get done out of this ‘cancer run.’ I have your love and consciousness, but do I also have your permission to use? I can only ask because you have already shown yourselves to be polished, clear and insightful writers, so are not likely to over-write for external purposes. For longer pieces you contribute here, of course you might prefer publishing as your own probably. I know you are writing a book or two Jeremy. When you have a book done you might want people to have, let’s give it a notice. I don’t get involved in book reviews anymore because of the Single Focus I must now maintain.

    Oh, Rachael, I just realized the point in including some comments with the book. It is just your point that they show and build community. In my Jungian-Senoi Dreamwork Manual, long ago now, I asked my dream groups for some of their significant work to show that dreamwork is not all about me as teacher or something but about all of us as community sharing our dreams and our dreamwork together in a long-term Community Of the Dream.

    In my cancer work now I apply my own personal and consciousness work to the cancer experience, similar to what I would do with ongoing dreams shared in community.

    Just realizing this a bit more. Your insight makes this clear to me. Thanks Strephon
