Four Million Years Old Human Ardi And My Cancer Dying

Ardi 4 million years old

What’s it like to be four million years old?

Imagine that it took so many millions of years for you and I to evolve to the body and brain we are today.

I can see Ardi and realize that even as I am probably dying of cancer now I am one of a long chain of life that continues through my daughters but also through those who have been influenced by me in relating, books, teaching and personal therapy.

Just the amount of time needed to evolve into who I am and have been today. It’s great to know in the evolutionary timeline of the human that I have lived life as a pretty advanced creature.

Then the evolutionary line continues with new people living what it is to be human for them.

Thank you Ardi from Strephon for being part of the human-making process so that I and my special people could exist as we are with our human capacities.

How do you comprehend what a million years is like?

You do it by seeing yourself not just an individual but as a larger existence as one of the little steps in an evolutionary timeline?

This gives us greater and more real perspective than the modern image of being just an individual.

So as I die the evolutionary chain continues that I have been a strong part of. I have found my place in time and lived it!

I really am dying of cancer at age 75 unless a reversal sets in. This realization that my individual life is not all there is of me helps. I am part of a larger human being maybe started around Ardi’s time. And my existence continues through my daughters, through my wife, and through my consciousness discoveries which others practice and make part of themselves. -strephon

Yes, I believe I live on a bit also through special friends like yourself, Rachel, and Arthur, special people who understand and appreciate me. Maybe we all live on together at the core as special seerers? We are part of a larger wholeness, a glob of energy and values that helps the world and its people.

    Hi,

Ah, that’s a great teaching. To be able to conceive of yourself as a product of millions of lives before you and not just a single line of mothers and fathers mating bearing a child, that child growing up, experiencing, learning and then mating and passing on the evolving genes, but rather a vast tree of inter-marriages all contributing at each generation to you until very likely you are related at various points to most everyone yet with your own special singular mix of genes – that you are the product of continuing humanity and that something of you will continue as you described – that is as difficult to conceive of as the number of stars and galaxies out in space. Ah, the vastness of which we are a part – from within and without – if one could really know that – not just as an idea or theory but really through the vastness of a mind transcending ego completely and becoming it all – if you could imagine your self back to the copulating and experiencing mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, cellular plant–animals, water, minerals, then stardust, the stuff that stars are made of as far back as it goes – then that one taking it all in in one grasp of mind would be my conception of a Buddha – with a mind so stretched what would life be? What would death be? When one sees oneself as part of the grand design, plan, or chance creation, both tiny and very grand to the utmost, what transformation takes place in the psyche/body? I can’t do it – yet, but just writing this I have gone more far than before – so we must nudge ourselves forward.

    With Joy,

    Jeremy

Beautiful and right on for me also, Jeremy. You have added to the concept that special teachers made of life stuff with added spiritual stuff do represent for us and the cosmos our response back to nature and the cosmos, and Source, that we are becoming fully what we are. That is human, individually and as humanity.

So as I die I am a living part of these great figure heads, Buddha, the real wisdom Jesus, the Zen Masters, Lao Su, the wonderful Hasids whose stories Elie Wiesel collected and published years ago that I loved, as well as Zen master stories.

I myself am almost nothing, and I tried never to be that public because of all the work it takes. I worked with clients and students, but only to a limited number that I could go deep with. That’s okay with me. I never wanted followers but I did want companionship with others on the Journey also. And look, it is still happening with you and others, like here!

While I was not really a public person, remember how I responded fully to Ellie, your dream daughter, and to you at the IASD conference? I remember all that fondly, and that is my style.

Of course I go for the highly intelligent and creative ones because that is my way also and I relate through understanding as well as connecting purposefully. -strephon

    Hi Stephron,

It is the companionship of heart and minds that is so valuable. Fame would wear one out – all those conferences and hotel rooms and interviews and correspondence – creativity would be severed. I too have held back when opportunities – like the Peace Train presented themselves and now what is important is each moment of living bliss, and with those dear to oneself.

Claudia who is on silent retreat in Crestone Co. aside for her new blog – she is an acupuncture doctor – just sent me this quote which impressed me. Another dimension of ourself and way of facing and helping ourself … as far as is possible.

    Yours,

    Jeremy

“There is a Darwinian belief that life and evolution is based on the survival of the fittest, which is an inherent competition and a struggle for existence that goes on forever.

The new science, however, shows that this is incorrect, that evolution was not based on competition, but rather on cooperation.

This is a profound difference, and it tells us that if we want to evolve as a species, we must stop competing, and begin to recognize our coherence — that we evolved to live as a harmonious community of people, living on this planet as one living “thing” called humanity.

In his newest book Spontaneous Evolution: Our Positive Future (and a Way to Get There from Here), Dr. Lipton explains we are surrounded by the proof that we are poised to take an incredible step forward in the growth of our species.

“Here we are on a planet with 6.5 billion people, destroying each other and destroying the planet, and we base it on this population that’s getting out of control and all this stuff like that.

And then I tell you this.

Well, we see ourselves as single individual entities. That’s a myth perception. We’re not a single anything. We are a community. We are a community of 50 trillion cells under our skin. And every cell is a functional biological equivalent of a miniature person.

Every cell has every function in your body in its body. Every cell is a miniature human, in a sense, in a large population. So under your skin, you have 50 trillion citizens.

Each one has a job, each has healthcare, each gets nutrition delivered to it, the garbage is taken out, and they live in a harmonious society where, if you’re in bliss, you’re actually — well, you represent yourself as the entity — no, 50 trillion cells are living in bliss and harmony at the same time.”

He then extends that thought to society as a whole. If you can live in harmony with 50 trillion cells inside of you, why can’t a society made of 6.5 billion people (all made of the same cells), also figure out a way to live in peace?

    Dr. Lipton continues:

“And they [your 50 trillion cells] live in a society, and they have rules and regulations, and they’ve been here a billion years before we were here.

And the important understanding is this, is that there’s this old statement that says, “The answers lie within.”

And in fact, from a biological point of view, I have to say, yes, if you understood the dynamics of how energy is exchanged in this system, how the cells have jobs, and the rules that hold them together in this wonderful, cooperative, growing, healthy, loving community that you’ll find in a human body that’s in health, if you look into that population and see how they do it, it’s like, just take those rules and apply it to 6.5 billion people, and this whole world will instantaneously snap into the harmony that a human body can have in a healthy situation.”

As I write this, however, the earth is in a very sick state, which Dr. Lipton goes so far as to call a “deathbed state.” But this is in terms of conventional thinking.

If there’s a profound shift and change in thought — about humanity, our roles in society and also our ability to take control of our own health on an individual level — there can be a spontaneous remission, one that changes the outlook from dark to very bright.

The true secret to life does not lie within your DNA, but rather within the mechanisms of your cell membranes.

In this way — which is contrary to conventional medical science — it is actually your cell’s membrane — operating in response to environmental signals picked up by the membrane’s receptors — that control the “reading” of the genes inside.

    What does this mean?

You Are in Control NOT Your Genes

It means that you are not controlled by your genetic makeup. Instead, your genetic readout (which genes are turned “on” and which are turned “off”) is primarily determined by your thoughts, attitudes and perceptions!

What this does is place YOU in the power position — NOT your doctor, not the medications you’re taking, and NOT disease or illness — but YOU. This is a profound shift in belief, as it moves you from the position of a victim to one of the master.

Next, since your thoughts and emotions play such a significant role in modifying your biology and your health, treating your emotions becomes an essential part of optimal health.

Terms like “energy medicine” and “energy psychology” are words that have sprung up in response to these shifts in perception of reality.
