Dream Two Deaths Sept 29 2009

Strange, each side kills another while not intending to. I had to get up to write the dream down. While I was feeling good in bed, I thought, I did have to get in upright position to breathe better. So I am breathing better. 7 AM time to get up. Stefania’s alarm went off.

Today I have my new doctor at the Steiner clinic. Much of what we worked for is happening. Now to eat so I can take my meds, including the pain killers. I do feel constriction in my right chest. I have to get through this day also, go by bus to the new clinic, and so on.

If we see this dream as a metaphor for dying then it would go like this. Usually in living one of a conflict pair survives and lives.

Here one of each side of the conflict dies, is killed by the other, thus the death is real. In Japanese sword tradition the perfect death is when both swordsmen cut each other at the same moment into death.

The point is before a sword conflict to have already given oneself to ones death. You fight without attachment to life. You have let go totally and are in the ultimate moment of your life which is the ultimate moment of your dying process also. You want to die significantly and that is by meeting in battle a warrior of equal caliber so that the outcome of your encounter is that you both die of each other, the Supreme Death.

This dream metaphor seems a direct clue that I really am dying now because of the kind of death it portrays, but we shall see, shant we?
