You and I know that Jesus material well written is one of the biggest written about topics in our Jesus culture.

My Jesus novel, based on modern psychology and historical Jesus studies, has major potential to be read by thousands of readers, maybe millions. It will not be based on imagination but the real historical incidents and teachings, but without any later Christian Jesus Christ archetypal magical thinking stuff.

I will pull it off. I want to see this spiritual novel published in my lifetime.

It’s not Christian but Christians and non-Christians will read it. It has great potential.

Grab it up from me if you are truly professional and able to back it well as a first rate novel. The story is actually also a thriller because Jesus was betrayed to execution, but by whom.

I will have that built in. But I will have most of the major historical Jesus teachings built in as character discussions and challenges.

Each Jesus teaching came out of real incidents of living I am sure. I as a psychologist and teacher have used real life incidents with my students to come up with illustrated teaching stories and wisdom statements, so I know the method works.

He who is near to me is near to the fire, is an authentic historical Jesus teaching. I say it in modern language: don’t evoke more in people than they can possibly handle I have taught my advanced students and used myself.

Publisher and agent, you can think of this novel as a read that serious lovers of the novel will read or dip into more than once because the Jesus wisdom teachings will be embedded in actions and characterizations and storyline developments.

No weak or ephemeral Jesus here but a spiritual activist. He gets killed but so did a lot of people by his age through wars and diseases, so it was less of a big deal possibly in Jesus’ day.

I want readers to realize this issue of what they are living their lives for.

I want readers to experience being there with the historical Jesus as teacher listening and learning and enjoying being with his group of followers.

I want Jesus and his group of followers to fight back to survive the establishment Jews and gentiles threatening them.

Read Josephus to see that the Jews of the region were almost continually at war with attacking other kings and peoples.

I want a good agent and publisher to pick this book up soon for some light editing. I do the major direction since I am the Jesus scholar-psychologist-writer but I am cooperative.

I want the publisher to take a strong interest in publishing this Jesus novel as a best seller far better than Normain Mailer or Anne Rice can do. They were too influenced by Christian culture to get it right.
