Good News This Day Of The New Apartment Aug 11

In Netherlands it takes years usually to get to the top of the list for nice housing in a sought after area. Five years ago Stefania and I moved into a run-down house they were destroying in five years and now five years later they are giving us a modern apartment.

We are both permanent residents to the Netherlands, so to break into this culture and get benefits is just major, major.

At the same time I have the cancer diagnosis and treatment we get the keys to the new place. It’s wonderful and quieter than where we now are and no drafts to get through the cold damp winters.

Stefania’s supervisor at work, a manager and a handy man at home offered to advise and do some helping work in fixing the new place up, which is great since I have found I always need a practical, decisive person to help me when I move to a country to teach and live.

Today’s Synchronicity!!!

The synchronicity today is that as Stefania and I were in the shopping center talking about this Dutchman coming later in the day for a look-over and advice session at the new apartment, he suddenly appears in the shopping hall and he and I meet each other for the first time.

Yes, he and Stefania work for the city government together, and that is how they know each other for over a year now, but to suddenly meet at just the right time is amazing.

But again, as I have said, one of the direct evidences for ‘God,’ an outside over-riding force that guides us if we let it, is synchronicity, which has happened over and over for me for years.

• Such synchronicity events can confirm and guide that we are making ‘right’ decisions in life.

Difference Between Chance Happenings

This is not interpreting chance happenings. Chance happenings don’t happen as often as synchronicity happenings. Chance happenings don’t occur within a context of meaning and destiny.

• Today is a destiny day for Stefania and I, and what confirms this is right and we had help for a greater power are the little comings together like meeting the Dutch helper-adviser for our apartment and just the precise moment we are talking about him.

I was weak from all the energy output and the cancer thing, so I was going to drive Stefania to the apartment for her later appointment with the Dutchman. I did not have to! He manifested in the hall. Then I drove Stefania to the new apartment and did not stay long but went home to rest before he came.

The Larger Meaning Of Synchronicity

The larger meaning for synchronicity is that in life we do have important life decisions we can make in how to live our lives, like safe or at risk for a superior value. If we choose the way of risk, living more at the edge, but for a greater value and purpose in life, guided by it, then we may, or often, or always, get confirmation as such a choice is being made or consummated.

Synchronicity is not in my definition just chance happenings that we interpret as special for us, even showing special powers. The real events come unannounced and are confirmation, unless we are way off the mark and we get negative synchronicity events.

Synchronicity is like a major dream that comes to us unbidden but loaded with context and meaning. We align with the meaning of the event but we do not create it, nor do we need to interpret it.

When Stefania and I met her supervisor in the shopping center today, they had already talked about his wanting to help out and the meeting was planned for later that day at a different place.

That the meeting for the three of us happened when and at what place that the Source seemed to choose means another force for means there is another force at work in our lives because things like moving, getting the keys to a place so longed for and waiting for five years, means it is right, it is our destiny, and at last it is happening now.

Whether I live or die soon, another major transition is being made.

Of course it is a poignant moment for partner and I to have struggled to this point, place and achievement in time. Synchronicity often happens in little events coming together with meaning, and not by chance. It does not have to be a great big whopper. Negative synchronicities, like car accidents, can seem a lot bigger to shock the ego to change its ways.

• Enough on this, but admidst the cancer challenge, and with the new medications starting yesterday, this bit of ‘Source positive’ happened.

It again confirms also it was right for me to give up the safety of a California practice, which I already had, and start over in Europe living and teaching as meaningful outreach to foreign adult students where they wanted me to come.

Necessary Ego Sacrifice

Even in this I made the sacrifice. I said, now if I do this moving countries I have to practice, ‘go where the energy is.’ I cannot make an ego preference, such as, I want to live in Southern France, which has great climate and village culture. I go where people want me to teach and there I live.

This meant I lived and taught in Britain, Norway, Netherlands and Romania. I could have lived and taught in Sweden also, or in Scotland, but I had to choose among opportunities. And of course I could have kept teaching full time in California.

But why play it safe in life?

The urge for safety in life is the greatest defeating force of having a meaningful destiny in life.

I have seen too many talents dry up as the years went buy, resting on their reputations but staying safe with the people and places they know.

You choose your life and you live it. You choose your life and that determines how life chooses you, heaven help you greatly if you are not living at the edge of greater risk and meaning! Heaven help you! I can’t anymore, of course. I have cancer …
