Strephon Says:

My focus for doing this blog is to leave a legacy. I am 75 years old in a month, April 2, 2009, and living with Stefania near Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

Originally, I am from Northern California where I had my Jungian-Senoi Dreamwork Institute and developed the Jungian-Senoi Dreamwork approach. There is where I wrote most of my books also, including The Dream Cards, a 120,000 copies best seller.

Now I live in The Netherlands because this is where I ended up teaching dreamwork psychology from in the countries of Europe.

My outreach is via the Web these days. I write my blog to leave a repository of clear thought about humanity values and perspectives to last via the Web for as long as people find my life teachings and commentary of importance to them in their own lives.

Strephon Says:

Your focus can be to use this blog and its insights regularly for your personal inspiration and perspective in your own work on Self and in your work in helping friends and clients with perspective on their own lives.

Some Fundamental Principles For Living

  1. live positively, developing value every day of your life
  2. deal with the negative through acceptance and problem-solving
  3. live consciously rather than unconsciously as you can
  4. act in life rather than react to life
  5. develop inner awareness to deal with outer things
  6. transform yourself by analyzing and disidentifying from unrealistic patterns and attitudes inside yourself
  7. follow guiding wisdom greater than personal ego desire
  8. develop the freedom to choose alternatives rather than follow blind fate and attitudes
  9. relate to others following The Golden Rule:do to yourself what you want others to do to you (one variant from skw)

These are among the chief principles I practice and use to process my experiences of myself and life. Thus every blog entry I include here will probably detail a specific life example as to how I have applied the principles I live by.

Please don’t think that consciousness is some mystical awareness experience, as many transpersonal psychologists and mystics probably believe. I define consciousness functionally as the following:

Definition of Consciousness

Consciousness is awareness plus right action.

Consciousness is the process of creating value through both heightened awareness and application of life principles in action.

We know the consciousness of a person by the results they manage to produce in their own lives.

A person who produces lots of money has a money consciousness. They define themselves as a number and a kind of materialistic power.

A person who produces a partner and children defines themselves as a fertility nest and try and gain their satisfaction in life through what their partners and children do or achieve.

A person in politics identifies with winning and losing an election. They identify also with a country, a party, a collective organization, that they try and have a leading influence over.

A consciousness person sees themselves as a moving awareness, not ultimately identified with anything, not even life itself.

From this fluid awareness and super presence in the moment a conscious person makes choices of realistic value that help define for themselves and others the nature of their perspective on life and existence itself.

Personal Invitation

Keep working on yourself as a conscious, aware, choice-making being. Use tools and perspectives such as this Strephon Says blog as helps in keeping yourself focused and developing.

Remember, it is not ultimately out there. All your outer accomplishments are like nothing if you are not developing inner perspective and awareness in balance with outer actions and results.

Stay focused, and maybe sometimes your focus will be here?

A seed or egg is a focused essence in being of the Life Force.
