SUMMARY: This perspective on the differences between living by goals or by principles can make an important difference in how I live my life this year. My problems may not go away, but I will be living with positive focus that makes me more fulfilled and effective in my life than if I simply set ego goals for what I want to accomplish for myself in the coming year.
