Economic Recession Analysis You Need To Know
| Hot: |
What is most important to you as a job earner and a buyer-spender in today’s world of greater difficulties in the economy?
How can an expert psychologist, which I am since I have earned my living in this area through working with people and through my book sales, give essential insight into how the world economy works?
Make mistakes in your economy and you make serious mistakes in the rest of your life!
Well, I am informed about these things by keeping up with the news online with the BBC and the Huffington Post primarily. I do have a fairly high effective intelligence and a world of people experience by now.
THE KEY TO THE WORLD ECONOMY
There are only a small number of key factors in the world economy that you need to know about:
- The World Economy is geared to produce essential products and services, such as police protection, health care, infrastructure, like roads and utilities.
- The World Economy is also geared to produce non-essential goods like facial makeup, plastic surgery, a new, big house, wealth from investing in stocks and bonds, cash to give the kids when you die, military forces and technology for governments to go to war with other countries. These and a lot more goods and services are mostly not needed to live a healthy and basically fulfilling life, but a lot of people make their living creating non-essential goods and services. This is called consumerism. People don’t really need to live on a lot of electronics, vacations, a new car every two years, a big, big house, and so on. But the economy needs consumer goods and the cash they bring in to create jobs and pay workers.
- The World Economy also runs by itself being an infrastructure that needs cash flow, regulated commerce that is honest and realistic, and that facilitates the exchange of resources and services, such as transport, to produce finished products and services. This is why we have investors, banks and national banks to accumulate large sums of money needed by manufacturers to make goods and pay workers.
- The World Economy runs also on the availability of world resources, such as crude oil, iron ore and land, that are turned into finished products that the world uses. These world resources that should be thought of as belonging to everybody on earth are often privately or governmentally possessed and so can be manipulated and kept from large groups of people, creating the poor that exist in many countries.
MAKING YOUR ECONOMIC DECISIONS
Note these divisions above of the World Economy.
Why? Because in making your own job decisions and decisions about how to spend the money you get back in from working in the world, you should consider the following.
Set a basic income and expense level that you and your family need to exist in a healthy and fulfilling manner without spending for goods and services in excess of what you actually need.
Four Pairs Of Shoes
To make the point clear, none of you in your household need more than four pairs of shoes.
- One pair is for work in dirty conditions like gardening, hiking and so on.
- One pair is for dress-up at social events.
- One pair is for sports.
- And one pair is for everyday work situations.
Whether man or woman, this is all you need for a comfortable and healthy existence. If you have more pairs of shoes than this, recycle them and don’t buy more.
One aspect of living realistically is to cut out consumerism.
Don’t buy for pleasure. Buy for function.
Pleasure is breathing fresh air, not buying perfume and toilet odor sprays. Don’t buy expensive meats and ice cream. Make due with less and be just as healthy in your eating. Don’t go on expensive vacations. If you need to get away to alternative environments, then find adequate but not fancy places to go, preferably places you and your family can do a little work and learn new skills, even if it is just going on white water rapids. Improve your health on vacations. Don’t lie around in the sun doing nothing but drinking alcohol and eating rich food.
How To Choose Your Work
Choose work, and have your children consider work, in the area of basic and necessary goods and services. The world always needs medical personnel. Be one! The world always needs food. Work the land to create food for people.
However, do all you can to preserve land for people and food and not biofuels that go to the consumers of the world who race around in fancy cars doing trips they and the world don’t really need.
Don’t work in fields contributing to consumerism.
- Don’t work in fields contributing to consumerism. If you have to build houses, build affordable small houses for people, not big boxes for the extravagant rich. Don’t Oprah Winfrey and other concerned rich live in big houses. It looks bad. It is bad to show off as a role model for countless others who will never be able to live in big houses and thus waste the world’s resources.
- No amount of helping the poor have small houses can make up for your role modeling an extravagant lifestyle, especially in today’s world with so many poor and so much exploitation of the world’s resources by the elite rich classes around the world.
- Don’t make and sell cosmetics. The natural human face is good enough as it is for all. Women don’t need to look prettier than men just because they have earthy vaginas. This is ridiculous and a waste of the world’s resources. Don’t work in fancy, expensive restaurants with inflated prices. Do work in restaurants that give good quality food at reasonable prices.
- Encourage dancing instead of eating as they way to have bodily pleasure and well-being.
- See how important it is to distinguish what is necessary for a healthy, basic life, and what is consumed as expensive and extravagant that is not necessary to the world?
Don’t go on vacations.
Go on archeological digs. Go to work farms and work with your physical body if you are normally a mental person in front of a computer at your regular job in the city. Create these alternative work vacations with purpose so that people are not wasting time and money at expensive resorts and on cruises, where they have nothing better to do than drink alcohol in excess and have sex in excess with each other.
What is this thing about consumer sex anyway? Ah, what a screwed up world we seem to live in!
Create businesses that provide essential goods and services.
Don’t create businesses that feed the military machines of your various countries. Killing people is a luxury game to consume goods and people so that others can make fortunes off of the savages of war.
War is not affordable. Don’t support it in any way, not even with your own sons and daughters. Killing people is almost never justified on a human ethics basis or on an economic basis. War work and manufacture is one of the economic big wastes of modern times. We all know from the news the incredible costs for modern tanks and planes, and the fuel costs to run these colossal machines.
War is a luxury that the world can no longer afford.
The obvious truth is that government and the military justify war by creating enemies.
If your brother or friend is killed in battle you are going to want to kill your “defined enemy’s” brother or friend. Come to think of it, why not just kill your enemy ten to one to your own guys being killed?
To a psychologist this thinking is insane and beyond both reason and choice. You become the “cold machine killer” or “the wild man archetype.”
Judging Insanity
The two criteria for judging insanity is unrealistic behavior and thinking and the inability to make realistic choices in determining ones own life.
Soldiers are asked to kill enemy human beings but at home not to kill anyone when they get angry. Imagine the splits in personality this can create.
Helping soldiers is helping them heal after they are forced to kill in battle. There are no ultimate enemies. We are all human beings sharing one earth and one humanity ethic. But when will we realize this and stop our leaders in their madness to defeat each other for whatever reasons they claim?
Civilian Jobs And One World Humanity Ethics
Civilians create weapons of destruction for the military to use, yet go home to their families and friends and expect themselves to be loved and to love. While their work is to make killing machines. This also makes for a split personality.
War is not only a terrible luxury but crazy-making.
Don’t work in this field if you don’t want to feel guilty all your life that you participate in killing other human beings.
Aggression is real as a natural instinct, say we psychologists. Act out your aggression safely. Don’t kill others. Don’t beat on each other at home, in unregulated fights, in senseless destroying of others you project enemy onto. Find culturally safe forms like martial arts, war films, football matches, whatever that is not true brutal acting out as in modern wars using modern technology.
And for those in police forces that have to kill once in awhile, go through healing rituals and acceptance that violence is still violence so that you do not mentally go through the inner hell of violence fantasies and wounds of guilt that make hell of your life for years to come.
Governments, manufacturers and the military create enemies to justify getting paid to kill people. Enemies are created. The military labels the people they try and kill as terrorists, insurgents, bad guys, enemies, while these labeled people call the invading military dogs, monsters, infidels, the enemy and worse.
Making yourself a human bomb may be an act of bravery against an enemy, but it is still killing other human beings.
Making yourself a soldier who tries to kill terrorists and insurgents is also making yourself a killer. How many soldiers have killed even more insurgents and civilians than a bomber has killed? Plenty!
War is not only ethically wrong as a crime against humanity, but also an economic extravagance not good for the modern world.
Don’t Create War
If you have accumulated money and resources as wealth, please don’t use it to create war or to create consumer products. Instead invest in land, in ecology, in products of necessity and value that don’t waste the world’s resources in consumerism. Ah, such a bad word is Consumerism these days, and so many have made it their true religion.
The biggest thing the world is not understanding in the current recession of 2008 is that people are cutting way back on buying consumer products and services like vacations because this is a natural shift taking place to be realistic in how the world’s resources are developed and used.
News of the current economy emphasize that growth rates in productivity have slowed down. The National Growth Rate should not increase by more consumer goods being made and sold. This is exploiting the world’s resources and labor to keep people in work, also necessitating huge sales forces to sell people goods and services they don’t really need.
All to keep people in jobs!
Instead the shift should be for the world’s manufacturing to create only necessary products for enhancing life at real core levels. Don’t spend on consumerism!
This is the true bottom line for the World Economy. Thus in the current news the government is to bail out the American car manufacturers without getting their agreement to build only environmentally safe cars. Good cars are small and non-polluting, and last for years. Bad cars are big, luxurious and break down requiring frequent repairs. And these bad cars consume a lot of gas like politicians consume alcohol and big words, signifying nothing except greed.
Bad! Bad! Bad!
Bad for Humanity and the World.
A reminder again of fundamental economics and values combined. We are seeing the difference between the two economies of producing essential and basic goods and services and producing non-essential goods and services to meet consumer greed created in part by a large sales force employed to seduce people into buying things they don’t really need.
A new car every two years? Come on now!
Today’s Economy – The Real Key Idea
Today’s economy may not be in a real recession. It may be that there is a collective recognition that consumerism, spending in excess for goods and services not really needed, is now being seen for what it is: a non-fulfilling waste of human energy and world resources.
It’s so clear it is unclear why decision-makers are not giving up consumerism fast enough or clear enough.
End all forms of luxury and consumerism.
End war as an exorbitant extravagance and a crime against humanity.
End cosmetics as an extravagance.
Someone has to say it. Come on, say it alone with me. Help save the world and its people. The real battle is always ultimately a struggle between ideas. Lend your voice to the “voices of reality.” Be brave! Be articulate!
End consumerism in buying luxuries such as many pairs of shoes and lots of clothes, such as buying large houses, such as supporting rich people in extravagant life styles or in making so much money at the expense of poor people.
This is not a one for all and all for one world yet.
What if, what if the world economy never gets back to extravagance and consumer spending, but functions as it realistically should in production of only the essentials for a basic and healthy life?
What if the world wakes up to its economic reality?
What if?
Make it happen!
Do every thing you can in your own life.
Also seek jobs that have decision-making power to alter the world’s views, culture, psychology, economy, governing.
End war.
End consumerism.
We do not control the world, but we do often have choice as to what we do in our own lives.
Become realistic in your own economic choices.
Live a good but not extravagant and wasteful life. Have lots of heart for others, equal to what you create for yourselves and families.
Please …
